Youth Programs
The Silent Film Society has introduced a special silent film program for school groups (grades 5-12) called Discovering the Silent Cinema. Students are offered the opportunity to learn about motion picture film heritage in a fast-paced, fun-filled show. In a specially compiled retrospective, they find out how silent films "grew up," and follow the development of the cinema from the early 1900s to the coming of sound pictures.
